Tucker checked in for the Endeavor out of Ventura Harbor Sportfishing. They have a 2-day charter departing tomorrow night, fishing Tuesday and Wednesday with a couple spots open that need to be filled. They'll be fishing seabass and halibut. If you want to get out on this trip give the charter master, John, a call. They're just shy of 30 halibut right now and seeing signs of seabass. Haven't gotten any to bit but they're there and halibut fishing is phenomenal. Tucker has the current fish report for you below.

Cody checking in from the Californian out of Ventura Harbor Sportfishing. We took out a charter group today. Our really fun group of guys wanted to spend the first half of the day fishing for halibut and gamefish. We tried hard, but didn't really get anything in return. We spent the remainder of our day with pretty good bottom fishing for the time we got to do that. Our 40 passengers today ended up with 186 rockfish, 3 lingcod, and 1 rock sole. Daniel checked in for the Island Spirit out of Ventura Harbor Sportfishing. We got out with 28 passengers and spent the first part of our day looking for seabass. We saw some fish and hooked and lost one unfortunately. Then we switched gears and went shallow water rockfishing the rest of the day. We had outstanding quality and a lot of lingcod. Our final fish count was 194 rockfish, 44 whitefish, 22 legal lingcod, a lot more shorts lingcod, and a few sculpin as well. Things are shapping up well out here. Fishing is good. We had beautiful weather, and spent the day fishing no deeper than 240 feet and finished the day at 150 feet of water. We kept it nice and shallow.
