Cody checking in from the Californian out of Ventura Harbor Sportfishing. Pretty nice day out on the water. A little bit tougher on the side of fishing, but quality fish nonetheless. Kept it pretty shallow today and got a little mix of bottom grabbers. Our 21 passengers caught 74 whitefish, 52 rockfish, a couple lingcod, 1 sand bass, and 1 sculpin. Daniel checking in from the Island Spirit out of Ventura Harbor Sportfishing. We're on our way in from our 1/2 day trip. We had 36 passengers today for "Kids Fish Free Sunday." We ended up with 287 rockfish, 78 whitefish, 11 sculpin, 2 sheephead, a cabazon, and a nice halibut to round out our day there. The fish was all nice quality. Kept it relatively shallow for the kids. Overall really good fishing. Daniel has all the details for you below.
