Daniel checked in for the Island Spirit out of Ventura Harbor Sportfishing. Beautiful weather 41 passengers. Great conditions all day. Everyone had a good time and caught a bunch of fish. Our final fish count for 41 passengers was 309 rockfish, 83 whitefish, 2 sheephead, 2 lingcod, and a sand dab. We were able to keep it shallow all day. We had limits of reds and lots of nice shallow-water rockfish.  Everyone is going home with nice big filet bags. Daniel has the latest fish report for you below.

It was pretty rough we only caught 1 legal halibut, but we rounded up the bags with 52 rockfish, a 4 of whitefish, a cabazon, a couple lingcod, a couple sculpin, and a sheephead. Either way still a really fun group of guys, girls, and kids. We had a fun day of fishing. Our group caught 228 rockfish, 29 whitefish, a couple of sculpin, and 4 lingcod. We just finished up our first drift and got limits of reds and about half limits on all the rockfish we could get on the first drift, about 160 fish on the boat.
