Daniel checked in for the Island Spirit out of Ventura Harbor Sportfishing. We got off the dock with a nice family charter group of about 30 people.  We spent the first couple hours doing some nice bottom fishing with really nice quality. Our group ended up with 162 rockfish, 26 sculpin, and a dozen whitefish. We then spent the last hour of our day looking for bass, barracuda, and halibut. We struck out on our halibut drift, but picked at a few bass and a few shorts. Daniel has the latest fish report for you below.

The Endeavor 2024 Charter Schedule Is Open!

The Endeavor is a 60' long by 20' wide fishing boat owned by Captain Tucker McCombs, who has extensive experience fishing in Southern Californian waters. The Endeavor crew, known for their expertise, cater to anglers of all levels. The boat features modern fish-finding equipment, a spray brine fish hold, and a newly renovated galley with seating for up to 24 passengers. There's also an air-conditioned bunk room that sleeps up to 22 passengers. We hope to fish with you guys soon!

Daniel checked in for the Island Spirit out of Ventura Harbor Sportfishing with their 1/2 Day wrap up report. We got out with a full boat of 50 passengers. We opted to stick to with the bottom fishing all day, and had really good fishing. We ended up with 500 rockfish (limits), 23 sculpin, and then spent our last half our trying to catch some bass. Daniel checked in for the Island Spirit out of Ventura Harbor Sportfishing. We had our weekly "Kids Fish Free Sunday Special." A bunch of kids on the boat had a pretty decent day of fishing. Our 30 anglers caught 95 rockfish, 19 barracuda, 4 whitefish, 4 calico bass, 1 yellowtail, and 1 sheepead. We had decent bottom fishing for our morning with nice quality fish, and spent the latter part of the day in the shallows with a decent pick on the barracuda and bass. We ended up with a really nice big yellowtail which made the day exciting. Daniel has the latest fish report for you below.

Cody checked in for the Californian out of Ventura. We had one of our regular charter groups today. We spent the better part of our day fishing some rockfish and whitefish. We finished off the afternoon with some bass and barracuda. We had a good mix of nice quality fish. Our 27 passengers ended up with 75 rockfish, 15 whitefish, 14 barracuda, 1 sheephead, and 1 sculpin. It was a fun day with nice weather, and a good group of people. We fished rockfish and stuff like that for the better part of the day. We ended up with 322 rockfish, a couple of lingcod, and a few whitefish for our bottom fishing. Then we switched it up and tried to get some surface action going. We had some pretty good action with 27 barracuda, and many more lost to sea lions and human error, a couple of calico bass, and a halibut. We did some bottom fishing for the first part of our day and ended up with limits of really nice quality cod. Afterwards. we shot into the island and tried the kelp. We had less-than-ideal conditions with a little more wind than the forecast called for, but we made it work and had a good day of bottom fishing for everybody.
