Tim checked in for the Californian out of Ventura. We're on our way in and had beautiful weather with a nice group of people. We started off the morning looking for some of that game fish. Daniel checked in for the Island Spirit out of Ventura Harbor Sportfishing. Good morning guys, Daniel from the Island Spirit here, I just want to let you guys know what we have going on this weekend. We have an extremely light load both days, Saturday and Sunday. We will be leaving the dock at 8 am. We just got some really nice live sardine in our bait receivers and have fresh dead squid as well. We'll be spending a good amount of time trying to catch a sea bass or halibut. There's a lot of that stuff going on right now. Our 32 people caught 297 rockfish, 6 whitefish, 4 sculpin, and a sole. We finally had really good bottom fishing today. We spent a little bit of time at the end of the day trying to catch a halibut, but it didn't work out. We didn't really have any condition for it. Hope to see you guys soon!
