Late report from yesterday's trip, really tough fishing with a great charter group, weather was beautiful but the conditions did not help us out. We did manage some nice rockfish with a few whitefish and sheephead. Getting ready to depart for today's trip. Great weather again and looks great all week. Hey guys! Cody checking in here from the Island Spirit out of Ventura Harbor Sportfishing with a quick update on our upcoming trips this week.

Super light loads the next few days, and the weather looks great! We've been keeping it shallow enjoying the summer time fishing! We recommend bringing your surface gear, light line 15-25lb fly line set ups, light sliding sinkers, size 2-1/0 hooks, swimbaits, and some surface irons/jigs, always a good idea to have couple 8-10oz sinkers for some whitefish or sheephead.
