Cody checking in for the Island Spirit out of Ventura Harbor Sportfishing with the latest. They spent the first part of the day looking for sea bass, saw some around but couldn't get a bite. They spent the rest of the day bottom-fishing and ended up with 83 rockfish, 17 whitefish, 11 sculpin, and 1 lingcod for their 18 anglers. Cody has the full current report for you below.
